Winter is HERE!
Now we have the cold fronts over our heads & making the days really chilly enough for a fire.
I don’t mind that so much, quite enjoy a bit of cold stuff now & again. Kids love the fire too!
At the moment we have a little visitor and she loves the fire to curl up in front of too. Poppy is just here for a few days while her Mum & Dad have a break away. Sam of course loves her..he thinks she comes to visit him!
She is a wee bit shy but can she eat!!!!!! If I didn’t watch she would have all the plates cleaned up in about 2 minutes!!! and she is suppose to be on a diet of special food because of her health. Soooo..no-one has said to Poppy “Don’t eat all the food you see” (we have, but hey she doesn’t understand English when it suits, she is a Schnauzer, so maybe German?)..BIG smiles when it’s meal time & she does the rounds of all the plates put down for all ‘kids’. Can’t help but love her anyway!
OK now down to winter & our trips away..right..NOT! I can imagine our m’home has bolted the door from the inside (the barn door) & said “NO way are we going to go anywhere in the snow & ice! ” (actually I do agree there) LOL
Mainly because it would be so dangerous for driving in places & not at all conducive to really nice enjoyable driving or seeing places.
What do you all have planned? Stay home & just get the m’home ready for the summer? Those little jobs one puts off as it is too nice to stay at home? Yep yep yep! OK guys..all the odd jobs get them done & have all ready & waiting for the spring & new trips on the road. Got to meet you all one day!
Hey hey folks!! it’s my birthday MONTH..yes MONTH! Do you think I am going to have just one day this year? NO! It is a BIG “0″ year so making the most of it. Eeeking it out to the absolute end of the month. Got a couple of things planned..and am looking forward to them very very much. John got the message early enough to know it isn’t just going to be a box of chocs & card & that’s it..LOL
OK just a little “Hello”..got to go & start the day! Bit nippy. so moving around the place & cleaning the house will keep me warm. *sigh* Soooo..birthday month or not…house needs to be cleaned.

At the opposite side of this great World - we are locating our fans, and wearing our shorts and T’s … so perhaps in a Perfect World - 6 months here and 6 months in your Land - Deal or no Deal ? ha ha …
But I cannot promise Palm Trees here … sure wish I had them to offer … I miss
that Tropical Plant … but even more … I miss being with you … New Zealand coffee … Chocolate Fish .. and … Cheese and Lamb … trust me we cannot compete …
Witnessing how you keep warm with propane fireplaces, and also seeing all the firewood you have stocked up for your so called winter - with no snowflakes …
I know you will get me back for this next comment - when I bite into a fresh strawberry from here I will think of You …perhaps a visit is required here to really witness ? yes am still the tease you know and kinda like …
Always know there is a Home here in Canada for You Both ….any time any where …
