TukiTuki
TukiTuki is a property which takes it’s name from the pituresque bay with it’s beautiful sandy beach on the West Coast of the Coromandel peninsula west of Colville village.
It is a coastal farm of 341 hectares in total with approximately 235 hectares of grassland and the balance in magnificent Pohutukawa, Puriri and other native trees along with some gorse. The property would have been a well run and set up farm in years gone by but it is now unfortunately showing signs of quite a few years of very little maintenance. The fence posts are still in good order but in need of new wire as the salt air has taken it’s toll on the old wire. The buildings are also in need of significant TLC.
The beach is one of the nicest on the west coast of the Coromandel Peninsula

Hey so nice to see the old beach.. I spent many a christmas holiday here with my family in a bus that stayed there all year round. Have fond memories of walking the old pa sites. and not so fond memories of finding large numbers of human bones uncovered by a storm, in the creek…
Thanks for that Frankie. It is certainly a beautiful place and probably one of the best beaches on the West side of the Peninsula. It has new owners now and I would think that it will look somewhat different now. So you would have driven all the way from Ngatea to there?
